|Good Life Cooperative||
By 2020, 100,000 Australians in disability, aged care and mental health will self-direct their supports through the Good Life Cooperative as holders of an individual support package without relying on a service provider to ‘deliver’ services to them.
The Good Life Cooperative is a member-owned mutual, with three categories of members who collaborate through the cooperative to pursue their goals:
Member-Controlled Information and Management Tool
Members of the Good Life Cooperative have access to a member-controlled online information and management tool, which is both a consolidated record of a person's support and care history, and a tool for the management of an individual budget.
This tool enables members to share data with each other, cutting out the middle-men. It allows members to pool their data to leverage personalised and affordable arrangements in the marketplace.
Ten years of exploration and negotiation with the leading technology innovators in Australia has resulted in a tech platform oriented to serving our various membership-based goals.
Mutual and Peer-Based Supports
The Cooperative enables the association of members in creating mutual and peer-based supports -a Circle of Support around each member, and a Network of Peers formed by ten or more members in each locality.
Become a Member
The formation meeting of the Cooperative will take place in March 2018. Become a member and participate. There is a one-off joining fee.
